Why the small stuff is harder
Opinions and values tend to come up in conversation. Friends hear how you feel about gifts, apologies, or time together, so they have something to go on.
Small routines are different. When you decide on lunch, whether you finish the crust, how much ice goes in the drink: these rarely get said out loud, and friends fill the gap with a guess about the kind of person you seem to be.
If a friend scores lower than expected, look at which questions they missed before reading anything into it. A miss on a daily habit usually means they never saw it, not that they do not know you.
