Getting a good round out of the main mix

A few things worth knowing before you send the link: how long to make it, how to answer, and what to do with the result.

Picking a length

Ten questions is a dare you can finish while someone is still arguing. Twenty is the default: five questions per topic, enough that one lucky guess does not decide the ranking. Forty and sixty give a much finer spread between close friends. Eighty uses every question in the pack, in a shuffled order — save it for the friend who claims they could answer for you. Longer sets never unlock dating or school questions; those stay in their own packs.

Answering so the score means something

Answer for the person you are on a normal Tuesday, not the one you are trying to be. If you always snooze, say so. If a question just does not apply — you never take the train, say — swap it while answering; the replacement comes from the same topic when one is left. And keep your picks to yourself. One screenshot in the chat and the whole ranking is meaningless.

What friends see

They see the same two sides you saw. After each guess they find out straight away whether they matched and which side you actually picked. At the end they get a score, a title, their best and worst topic, and the questions only they got right. The ranking shows display names and scores to anyone who has the link, so nicknames are the way to go.

Reading the result as a group

With several players, look past first place. The result page shows the group average, the question almost everyone missed, and the one nearly everyone got. The missed one is usually the best conversation of the night: it is the habit of yours that nobody has noticed. If one topic is low for everyone, that is the side of you that the group does not see.

The four topics

Twenty questions per topic, 80 in all. Every quiz draws evenly from each, so a 20-question set has five food, five going-out, five habit, and five values questions.

  1. 01

    Food

Convenience-store lines, ramen broth, ice, leftovers, the check at the end of the meal.

  2. 02

    Going out

Open seats, sudden rain, famous-shop lines, tickets bought the day before or on the day.

  3. 03

    Habits

Charging, lights, laundry, snooze, browser tabs, a shower at night or in the morning.

  4. 04

    Values

Apologies, gifts, secrets, a friend who vents, and what the ideal day off looks like.

Who to send it to

A mixed group where nobody wants a love frame or a school frame. For a partner, the couple page is a better fit.

Close friends

The classic dare. Send the link after dinner, on a trip, or when someone claims they know you best.

Group chats

One link, many guesses. Everyone lands on the same ranking, and the result page shows the question most people missed.

Roommates and weekend friends

Daily habits show up here: shoes lined up or left where they land, laundry folded or left in the basket.

What a high score means

Someone has watched the everyday version of you — how you order, how you get around, how you apologize. The result shows the match count, a topic breakdown, and a rank on the same link.

Food memory

Ice in the drink, the last shared bite, whether you finish the ramen broth. Anyone who eats with you should get these.

How you move

An open train seat, sudden rain, a long line at a famous spot. The going-out half is about the city, not about dates.

Habits and values

Phone charging, lights, a drafted message, how you say sorry. The part that is not about snacks.

When to send it

Any chat that talks about ordinary days works. Right after a shared plan works best.

After dinner or a trip

While the arguments about the check and the train are still fresh.

In the group thread

One link. Each person guesses. The ranking fills in as people finish.

As a rematch

If someone already made one for you, answer theirs, then send yours back.

FAQ

1 What does the main mix score?

How many of your food, going-out, habit, and value picks someone guessed. A high score means they tracked everyday you, not that you fit a type.

2 Is this a personality test?

No. A personality test labels you. Here there is no fixed key — the only right answers are the sides you already picked.

3 When should I use a themed pack instead?

When the chat already has one thing in common — dating, class, games, how you stan. The main mix deliberately jumps between topics.

4 Do I need an account?

No. Pick a length, answer, and copy the link. You and your friends only type a display name.

5 Why mix four topics instead of one?

A mixed group has different windows into your life. The person who eats with you knows your food calls; the person you travel with knows how you handle a missed connection. Mixing topics gives everyone a fair shot, and the topic breakdown shows who knows which side of you.

6 Can I write my own questions?

No. Every question is written and reviewed by us, so both sides are always a real, reasonable choice. You can swap any question you do not like while answering.
